This tranquil and mountainous country has no coastline, but it is known for its spectacular limestone mountains which offer you amazing opportunities to go trekking and explore eerie karst formations and caves. Moreover, you will have the chance to experience Vientiane’s wonderful architecture, monuments, markets, and Mekong sunsets, and explore Luang Prabang’s stunning array of glittering temples. The country has much more to offer!
Without coastlines, the country weather’s system is pretty simple with a dry season (October to April) and a wet season (May to September).
The dry season is generally the most recommended time to visit with little rainfall and pleasant temperatures, however during and just after the rainy season, Laos is at its most picturesque as the countryside is lush and green and the waterfalls are at their most impressive.
